Halo hair extensions are an amazing way to have long hair in an instant. Halos give the same effect as wearing a weft/weave without the cost of a fitting. Halos do not require braids, glue, rings or clips for fitting, and are easily removed without assistance.

The Halo hair weft has an invisible Secret Wire attached to each end. Once sized, this is like wearing an invisible hair band. The weft sits below the ridge at the back of your head to stay in place. Additionally, the weight of your own hair – even fine hair – will keep the Halo extension securely in position!

If fitted correctly, you should barely be able to get your index finger between the Halo weft and your head if you can’t, your Halo is too tight! If you can get two fingers between your Halo weft and your head, your Halo is too loose.

Once sized correctly, simply pull the Halo over the crown of your head and drop your own hair over the Secret Wire. You then comb your own

hair gently at the front so the wire is completely hidden.

No! Halo hair extensions are extremely safe and will not damage your own hair as they are supported by the Secret Wire⑧. Halos cause no stress or pulling on your own hair.

All lengths of hair are suitable for a Halo. Halo hair extensions work best with shoulder length hair or hair with a long top layer.

Halo hair extensions do not rely on clips to keep them in place. Halo hair is supported across the width of the head by the Secret Wire⑧. Weight is therefore, distributed evenly. Clip-in hair extensions usually come in several smaller pieces. Clip-ins are worn at various points around the head and rely on smaller sections of your own hair to support each piece. Clip-ins are added one section at a time.

As long as your own hair is the same color as your Halo hair, it should blend in. It is easier to blend long layered styles with a Halo than a short, choppy, blunt style. To see the effect, lay your own hair over the Halo (without removing the security ties). Also check the color of your ends.

Disadvantages of Halo hair extensions:

Don’t sleep with wet hair extensions. Once your hair extensions are completely dry, braid the hair or tie it in a loose ponytail to prevent tangling as much as possible. Avoid long exposure to chlorine and salt water, which can cause the hair to tangle and mat. We suggest wearing a swimming cap, or wear your hair up to keep it out of the water. It is best to shampoo and condition your hair immediately after swimming.

In general, it is a good habit to wear your hair up or in a ponytail when you exercise.

Hair extensions are made from human hair, and can be dyed a darker color, styled with heat styling tools (curled or straightened), washed frequently, and treated just like you would your own natural hair.

On the other hand, hair extensions made from synthetic hair are sensitive to the sun, are difficult to style and blend with your own hair, and typically don’t have the same lifespan as human hair extensions. Human hair extensions can last up to a year or longer if they are properly cared for.

Remy human hair is the highest grade of real, human hair, which is the preferred choice for hair extensions, hairpieces and wigs because it achieves the most natural look and can be styled and washed just like your own hair.

Remy hair is considered to be the finest quality human hair because the cuticles are kept intact and not stripped, like most other non-Remy hair extensions. Preserving the cuticles, and aligning them in a unidirectional fashion creates extensions that are completely natural in appearance. This process ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, silky and completely tangle-free throughout its lifetime.

Since Ladyidiy hair extensions are made of 100% Remy human hair, they can be dyed a darker color or toned by a professional hair colorist, who has previous experience working with hair extensions.

If you decide to get your hair extensions dyed, we recommend that a one-clip-in weft be tested prior to dying/toning the full set to ensure that you are satisfied with the results. We strongly recommend that hair extensions should not be bleached a lighter shade. Bleaching is a harmful chemical process that can alter the quality of your set, and may even damage it.

If you are between shades, we recommend choosing the lighter color and taking your set to a professional hair colorist to have them dye your set a darker shade in order to achieve an overall match.

Similarly, if you have highlights, we recommend choosing a shade that matches the lightest highlight in your hair, and having a professional hair colorist add lowlights to your set.

Kindly note, dying or toning hair extensions may alter the structure of the hair, resulting in a shorter lifespan. Dying, toning, or bleaching Luxy Hair extensions is done at the customer’s discretion.

Just like your own hair, Luxy Hair extensions can be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled. In order to preserve and extend the lifespan of your Ladyidiy Hair extensions, we suggest that you always use a heat protectant spray prior to styling your set.

Additionally, we recommend only using a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. A lower heat setting will prolong the lifespan of your set. Our own hair may be able to handle a high heat setting because it is constantly being revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don’t get that sort of nutrition.

2. Your hair extension tangle could be due to dryness, built-up oil and dirt, salt water, chlorine or not combing your hair daily (use a wide tooth comb).
3. Ensure you wash and condition your hair at least once a week; twice a week would be better. Use olive oil to moisten and smooth your hair extensions, or consult your stylist for more help.

All of our hair extensions can be dyed to the color 27#, except #613, but you need to have this done professionally to achieve the exact color without damaging the hair. Virgin hair will easily dry out after leaving the donor, so don’t dye or restyle the hair too frequently, as this may seriously damage the hair.

Wavy/curly hair extensions are made using steam, without any chemicals, so the texture will be softer after washing. Please understand, we do this to prolong the life of the extension, and to keep its natural state. You can restyle the hair to achieve your preferred style.
